WebBuddy Holly was born on September 7, 1936, in Lubbock, Texas. He was interested in music from a very young age and started to play the guitar and sing when he was just 11 years old. In high school, he formed a band with some of his friends, and they started to play at local events. After high school, Holly started to pursue a career in music.
