WebDec 13, 2024 · I have a knight wolverine and it has been a great gun. It's an older one and I'm guessing it was built around 1997 or so, but it worked great. It was an inline with a number 11 percussion cap ignition originally, and I bought the conversion kit for it so I could shoot 209 primers. WebMar 30, 2013 · As far as i know the only difference is the vent liner is not removable in the plug Knight sells. The bare 209 adapter replaces the jacket (FPJ) in the bolt and you load a bare 209 primer into the installed adapter. The adapter is VERY easy to install in the bolt. Then you simply close the bolt when you are ready to fire.

WebDec 18, 2024 · #1 A relative is going to let me use his Knight Bighorn for hunting next season. It is currently musket cap ignition based on previous ruling by Washington State. However, as of this year, 209 ignition is now legal. There is a converion kit that would allow the 209 ignition. I am not real familiar with this Knight, Is it worth the conversion?
